The firm’s authorisation services is part of the Regulatory Practice Group. We provide end to end support for businesses seeking a license to conduct financial services in or from the DIFC and ADGM.

    What we do

Step by step we help our clients develop and implement the regulatory processes required to operate in financial centres. We help navigate through the minefield of laws and regulations so as to enable the most efficient solutions.

Our role in obtaining your licence

Once engaged, Unitas will assign a team together with a dedicated team leader to each client to manage the process flow from end to end. We work with our clients to identify the most efficient legal and ownership structure necessary for a regulatory licence. We help to construct the Regulatory Business Plan (RBP) and organisational framework, ensuring that the key business model and concepts are understood. We act as the bridge between the client and the regulator.

We engage closely to develop the full set of business specific manuals tailored from a compliance and operational perspective imbedded within the clients RBP.

We assist in the development of core manuals on the key obligations and risk considerations whilst operating in a financial centre. We assist in completing all the necessary application forms. We provide regular and ongoing status reporting through our internally developed IT portals to allow each client the collaborative ability to monitor and provide feedback on the progress of their application.

We provide training on the regulatory landscape to allow senior management easy adaptation and settlement.
